Lake KOOCANUSA Waterpark

In 2016 we introduced the first waterpark to Lake Koocanusa, BC. This floating waterpark and aquatic playground became an instant hit with so many families. After all, this is an unforgettable way to enjoy the beautiful East Kootenays even more. In 2021 we brought in a brand new bigger and better Waterpark. Come and join in the fun this summer on the bouncy Koocanusa Waterpark at Sunshine Marina. In 2024, we added the Giant Tower along with many other new pieces including our Floating Cabanas, the baby blob and more!
You are required to let loose, jump in, forget your worries and enjoy the beauty of Lake Koocanusa with your friends and family.

Online Bookings
Most importantly, YOU MUST BOOK ONLINE PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. In order to create the most enjoyable experience we do have capacity limits set on the park. We want to make sure you don’t make the drive out and get turned away if we are at capacity. Some dates book up weeks in advance, please click on the Book Now button to see what sessions are available.
Waivers
If you do not sign your waiver ahead of your arrival, you will delay your entry and lose time on the park.
When you book you will receive an email confirmation with links to the electronic Waterpark Waiver. This electronic document must be filled out prior to your arrival.

Parent Supervision
Life Jackets
We highly encourage all guests to bring their own life jackets but if you cannot, we will have life jackets available free of charge.

We ask that guests come 15 minutes prior to your start time. When you arrive, check in with our waterpark attendant at the floating Waterpark Kiosk located within the waterpark (not the driftwood store). At this point you will be given instructions on the waterpark dock set up.
Once you are checked in, don’t be afraid to be the first in the water! At the end of your booked time, please ensure you are out of the waterpark by the end time and off the docks within 15 minutes.
Cancellations & Refunds
Tickets can be refunded fully if you cancel at least 48 hours before your booked time. Simply go to your Email Confirmation and click “Cancel booking” underneath the waterpark picture. Please see the photo below for an example.

Dock Lounging
You do not need to pay if you are only going to observe from the dock. Enjoy a bite to eat the Dockside Cantina while you take in the views.
Parking & Docking
When you book, you will be asked if you are coming by boat or car. If you are coming by boat there will be designated waterpark parking along the north waterpark dock. Look for signage and after you park, please let the waterpark attendant know when you check in.
